Down Under

Fun! Fun! Fun! Really enjoying myself in Australia with all the nice food and good company. The weather is abit on the cold side here as its winter now. But i can wear all my favourite sweaters here with no one saying i'm mad...haha...(people think you're crazy if you wear sweaters in Singapore...)

Will be going to the famous Australian Zoo in a few days time... There will be more pictures to come in the near future!!! Too busy enjoying myself now to upload the pictures... Ciao!!

My 'Sisters'

Met my Er Jie and San Jie (2nd and 3rd sisters) for dinner today as they needed me to pass some stuff to my Da Jie when i go to Australia on the 21 of June. We went to a Vietnamese cafe for dinner and had our dessert at this place called 'More then just desserts'. The place is quite nicely decorated. Not only does it serves dessert but it also serves food like a restaurant.

I've always missed the times when me and my brother were still very young and my 1st, 2nd and 3rd sisters would bring us out for meals, outings to Sentosa, Zoo and many more. They are my cousins actually but they are more like my older sisters. They looked after us from young and made sure me and my brother had a wonderful childhood.

I'm really very fortunate and blessed to have such people in my life who dotes on me and my brother unconditionally. Thank you!

Work work...

First day on my new temp job! Working for L'Oreal again but as a 'stocktaker'. (Does such a word exist?) So, what i basically do is go around the Watson stores around Singapore to take the stocks of all the different brands under L'Oreal. (Still negotiating whether there's any transport claims....they better have. If not they can find another person to do the job tml..haha..)

They despatched us to the areas where we live nearest to. Hence, i went to Toa Payoh and Bradell today. Checking a total of 3 stores. It may seem easy but you can actually spend close to 3 hrs (big stores) checking the products. Not only do we have to check the stocks both on the shelves and the storerooms, we have to categorise them by colour!! (For example: lipsticks have their colour coding 933,802 etc.) Thats why we only completed 3 stores from 1pm to 8 pm. (Could have worked on another store and claim more OT pay but my partner is dead tired..)

Looking forward to working tomorrow as i love it when i am free to do my job...lets just say under minimal supervision. No one breathing down my neck. As long as i complete my job, i get the pay...Simple! We were pre-warned that we had to work OT everyday for the 2 weeks(I didn't mind the least as i could save up more for my trip down under!) which starts from 10am and ends at 9 am. (2 weeks job minus the weekends) That means around $700!!! Thats IF i get to work 3hrs OT for the whole 10 days....which remains to be seen. *fingers crossed*

I'm actually thinking about my full time job after i come back from aussie...... Got to work.....some things can't be done without $$$.......... I'm sure i'll find one that fits my bill!
